We had such a great time Sunday as we welcomed back Bill Stone from Paranoid Lovesick who showcased songs from two new releases ‘Tuxedo Avenue Breakdown’ and ‘Suburban Pop Allegro’. Paranoid Lovesick will be participating in this weekends International Pop Overthrow at the Beachland for a one time only Reunion/Farewell spectacle.

We also got a chance to meet Rob Duskey and the Rounders who dropped by to feature songs from ‘Cautiously Optimistic’ their incredible first effort to be released at the Brothers Lounge on the 19th!

Sunday was so much fun as we got to catch up with Austin ‘Walkin Cane’ Charranghat who spent almost two weeks in Katmandu for the Himalayan Blues Festival playing at various spots including the US Embassy! Catch Austin this Saturday at the Old Angle Tavern, 5-ish to 7-ish!

We had a blast Sunday as we welcomed back two amazing singer/songwriters  into the radio 92.3 studios! First up was Robin Stone who got us up to date on the national release party for ‘Bad Girl’ happeneing at Musica in Akron this Saturday the 18th with fellow label mate Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. band on the bill as well!

Kristine Jackson dropped by as well to highlight her new foundation ‘Kickin the Cancer Blues’ and the benefit concert at the House of Blues this Saturday. Austin ‘Walkin Cane’, Zach , and The Jack Fords will all be lending their talents to help out this great event that is very close to Kristine’s heart with the passing of her cousin earlier this year.

Pat, Jim, and Matt welcomed Non Fiction into the studios this past Sunday night to chat about their debut CD being released at the Grog Shop this Saturday on Whole Acoustic Records. The new project features, Buzz the Duvalby Brothers madman, Sean Bilovecky from Disengage fame, and Pat Ginley of Hilo. The CD is blusey, atmospheric, and well worth your time!

We also got a chance to debut new music from Full Wave Rectifier an Akron band that features Jer Herring of DiNK along with his wife Mary. Their new Cd ‘Lecture 5′ will be released this Saturday at Musica in Akron.

Pat and Matt, with Jim taking the evening off, started the show with big news from the Ohio Sky camp as they revealed being signed by Chimaira’s management company Direct Management! We also got a chance to catch up with Eric from Audiblethread, who brought along their new CD ‘R’ as well as a preview of the Cleveland Bridge Project going down this weekend under the Detriot-Superior!
