What a crazy show this past Sunday as the guys hosted 4 great local bands ontop of  brand new music from original Faith No More singer and fellow Clevelander Chuck Mosley AND the huge news of Kate Voegele’s performance on The Tonight Show on NBC!

First up was a phone interview with the Jehova Waitresses from their practice space as they got ready for their big reunion show at the Grog Shop this Saturday!

Next up the boys welcomed back right off the road from a show in Boston The Suede Brothers who talked about their Cleveland release concert for ‘Ill New You’ at the Matinee on w. 25th this Friday. They also mentioned plans for a new full-length release before the end of the year!

Mystery of Two dropped by as a capper to their two week east coast tour to hype a release party happening at the Beachland this Friday for their new self titled CD!

And last but certainly not least Pat, Jim and Matt finally got Joshua Jesty into the studio to play some tunes Live and chat about his solo CD release ‘Girl’ happeneing August 8th at the Winchester!

Very sad news to start the show as the guys found out literally 10 minuets before they went on-air about Tim Shaw passing away. He was one of the all time great guys in the Cleveland Music Scene and good friend to Pat and all who knew him. Tim you will be sorely missed!! John Petkovic wrote a very nice piece about Tim for the Plain Dealer which you can read here.

Another fun filled show as we previewed the Metromix Inner Sanctum Concert series show at the Beachland this Wednesday! Austin Charanghat and Pale Hollow stopped by to play some tunes live and give a taste of the blast the show is gonna be! We also debuted a new song from Keelhaul (about time brothas!!) and the Suede Brothers! Starting this Wednesday July 8th the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum brings back it’s popular Summer Session concert series! Enjoy some of the best local acts teamed up with National bands for free right outside the Rock Hall on the beautiful north coast! From the Rock Hall’s website:

• The country and region’s most popular up-and-coming bands and artists will perform, many for the first time at the Rock Hall. The latest in web technology, webcasting and blogging, will allow concert attendees to watch the concerts live, relive their favorite concert moments and communicate with their favorite bands via blog posts. Each Summer Sessions artist or band has been invited to begin a blog on cleveland.com to share their experiences with fans: how they got started, their favorite things about performing live, their aspirations for the future and more.

This Wednesday starting at 7pm you can catch local experimental indie rock hero’s Mystery of Two:

Mo2 will be our in-studio guests on Sunday July 26th to debut music and talk about about their CD release party July 31st at the Beachland Ballroom with Hot Cha Cha!
